How you can help...
We are very proud to be a no-kill shelter, housing, loving and feeding all animals until they are adopted. But all of this care is expensive. We operate as frugally as possible yet we must continue to ask for your support.

Volunteers at the Lenawee Humane Society have one thing in common: they're all making a difference for animals in our community. Volunteers are an especially important part of LHS because we receive no tax dollars or funds from other humane organizations. Often, volunteers provide services that LHS could not afford otherwise.

Monetary contributions are always welcome. However, there are other ways you can help. We always need volunteers to perform a variety of tasks at the Shelter.

In addition, our animals have a Wish List of items they need for their stay here, to ensure it is a comfortable one.


Bring your donation to the Lenawee Humane Society at 705 W. Beecher Street, Adrian, daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. except Wednesday and Sunday. Remember all donations are tax deductible.
